Rotten Leonard's hand made bomber style seats
Frames to make your own custom width and upholstery bucket seats 4 pcs $175
One pair of seat frames work good for making a single bucket or a bench seat. 2 pcs $100
Our seats are perfect for a real hot rod that actually hits the road! This gives you the bomber seat style but with more of a comfy ride (as original bomber seats suck after sitting in them for a few hundred miles).
We keep red and black pleated vinyl on hand and use new quality upholstery foam padding that provides good support. Our bomber style seats are made of 0.060" aluminum sheet, 3/4" cabinet grade plywood with real aluminum rivets. Dimensions are approximately 19" deep, 22" tall, and 18" wide with a 12.5 degree lay back. The bottoms have six 3/8" course thread holes that you can use for mounting.
The seats are not show quality, they have some tool marks, light scratches, and may need light deburring but that's why they are $300 a pair instead of the $800 each.
For a custom fit, seats can be made an inch or two wider or narrower depending on the application you need. If you want different upholstery we can accommodate, check out http://www.garysupholstery.com/ for options. It will cost the price of the vinyl plus shipping (usually $30-$60 dollars extra) and takes about 14 additional days. Please email or call us for special orders.
Seats are made as ordered so allow up to two weeks to ship except in mid August when you really should be at Bonneville Speedweek instead of working on your rod. In addition we usually make it to the Portland Swap Meet every year, and are happy to bring orders for pickup.
Don't forget to include the cost of the pad and upholstery when comparing prices.
We are now offering custom designed seat back panels to give a more finished look. We have many images prepared or if you want something special contact us and we can work it out. Also panels can be bead rolled with a design. Only limited by imagination!!!
